Take hold of the filter at the handles.
☞
Lift the filter at least 30 cm.
☞
Remove the filter to the front.
☞
Place the filter in a bucket or a similar container.
☞
Unscrew the screws on the top of the filter.
☞
Remove the cover.
☞
Empty the filter completely.
☞
Fill the filter with new charcoal up to the maximum level.
☞
Screw the cover back on to the top of the filter.
☞
Clean the filter from the outside (e.g. through extraction
with a vacuum cleaner).
☞
Take hold of the filter at the handles.
☞
Carefully insert the filter again.
☞
Place the cover on the device.
☞
Re-establish the voltage supply.

Fault rectification
Possible faults are described below:

Fan and lighting do not work.

No power supply.

Check that the all-pole mains switch is connected.
☞
Switch the mains switch on.
y
The breaker may have been tripped or is defective.

Check to see if the breaker has tripped.

If you use electric circuit breakers, turn the circuit
breaker on again.
☞
For other types of fuse, consult a qualified electrician.
The fan does not work.
y
The device is not switched on.

Check all power levels.
y
The device is connected to a window contact switch and
the window is closed.
☞
Open the window.
y
The device is connected to a safety device. The safety
device detects a critical under-pressure.

Open a window.
☞
Wait until the air pressure returns to normal.
The lighting does not work.
y
The device software requires a restart.

Interrupt the power supply for approx. 10 seconds.
y
The lamp has blown.
☞
Please consult your dealer or customer services.
Smells occur during operation.

The filter filling is used up.
