2.5 Emergency switch
The emergency switch allows equipment switch-on and off in an
emergency (faulty remote control, flat batteries).
Switch-on occurs with preset settings according to detected ambient
temperature:
Ambient temperature above 24 °c
— Cooling mode
— Temperature setting 24 °C
— Ventilation speed Auto
— Hourly programming off
Ambient temperature below 24 °c
— Heating Mode
— Temperature setting 24 °C
— Ventilation speed Auto
— Hourly programming off

Activation
— lift the front panel
— press the emergency switch using a pointed object
Equipment outputs a warning sound and switches on.
Switch-off
— lift the front panel
— press the emergency switch using a pointed object
Equipment switches off.

The auxiliary switch is an emergency device and must not be
used regularly.
2.6 temporary shutdown
In order to shut down the unit for periods of brief absences:

The unit display turns off.
The horizontal motorised deflector closes.

Turn unit off exclusively through the remote control.
2.7 Stop for an extended period of time
If the device has not been used for an extended period of time, carry
out the following operations:
— start the device in ventilation mode
— select the maximum speed
— let the device run for 6 hours
— deactivate the unit with the remote control

— position the system's main switch in the "OFF" position.
2.8 maintenance
Routine maintenance is fundamental for keeping the equip-
ment efficient, safe and reliable. It can be performed periodically

Technical Support Service, whose staff is technically qual-
ified and can use genuine spare parts, if necessary.
BREVA IN
The only necessary cleaning, on the part of the user, are those of the
remote control, of the cover cabinet, of the front grille, of the mesh
filters and the replacement of the purifying filters.
