Change Protect
Rings
This function write protects the current ring displayed on the front
panel from being written to by the computer system. If this is
on
and
you change rings, the new ring and only the new ring will be write
protected until protect rings is turned off.

CAUTION:
The front panel LCD controls can still write to the rings. Functions such
as Erase Ring and Copy Ring can overwrite the current ring even if
Protect Rings is on.
1. With the
Change protect rings
function displayed, press the
ENTER
button to choose this function
.
The following message will appear:
Protect rings
off / on
2. Press the
SELECT
button to toggle between On and Off , then press the
ENTER
button to choose the desired option
.
The OptiPac will reset to the new value.
Change Protect
Ring H00
This function write protects ring H00 from being written to by the
computer system. If this is
on
, ring H00 will be write protected until
Protect Ring H00 is turned off.

Use 12 / 24 Hour
Clock
This function changes the clock display on the front panel LCD from a
12 hour clock to a 24 hour clock or vice versa.
1. Press the
ENTER
button until the
Use 12 / 24 hour clock
function is
displayed on the Configurations menu.
2. Press
ENTER
to select this option.
3. Use the
ENTER
button to toggle between
12
and
24
. Then press the
SELECT
button to return to the menu.
