Change of batteries
The battery pack is mounted at the back of the lamp for even distribution of weight when wearing this lamp. For
changing the batteries please open the rubber cap of the battery box. Always change all batteries at the same
time. Fill in new batteries according to the plus and minus marks at the holder. Close the lamp by pushing the
rubber cap back on the battery box.
Batteries
Never try to recharge batteries or use fresh and used batteries together. Always change all batteries at the same
time and use high quality batteries and the same type only. Because of different electrical values the use of
accumulators is not allowed. If you intend to not use this lamp for a longer time, take the batteries out to pre-
vent damage by leaking batteries. Discharged batteries must be taken out. Used batteries and accumulators are
hazardous waste and must be disposed according to the national legislation.
Maintenance and cleaning
Clean this lamp and all accessories only dry with a non fl uffy, but soft cloth.
Attention!
When you reinsert the batteries into the battery pack, you must insert them according to the plus (+) and minus
(-) marks inside the battery pack. If you insert batteries the wrong way, there may be the risk of damaged batte-
ries or maybe an explosion!
Security advice
You must not hit anybody at the eyes with the light out of this lamp. If the light beam hits your eyes close the
eyes and turn your head away. Do not use any magnifying instruments that concentrate the light can temporari-
ly dazzle your eyes.
In case of commercial usage, the user of the lamp must be instructed according to the national regulations for
health and safety and the rules of practice. This maybe can include rules for safe use of lasers.
Advice:
The components in the lamp can respond sensitively to high electrostatic discharge. That can cause light fl uctu-
ations so far that the lamp may be switched off.
