Charging the Batteries
Plug the charger into the charging jack, which is located underneath of the instrument. It is
covered by a rubber cap. Plug the charger into a wall outlet, charging starts immediately.
The following items reduce the operating time:
• frequent readjustment of the situation (wind, vibration)
• extreme temperatures
PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
Do not expose to extreme temperatures and temperature fluctuations (don’t store in a car).
The unit is very sturdy. Nevertheless be careful when using measuring devices. Check for
stronger external effects before proceeding always levelling.
The device can be used both indoors and outdoors.
ATTN.: NEVER STORE THE WET INSTRUMENT IN SUITCASE!
ALWAYS DRY THE WET INSTRUMENT CAREFULLY!

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Contamination of the optical surfaces at the outlet openings, the beam quality and reach a
decisive influence. Cleaning with cotton swab and looking for lint.
