1) Attention! Read operating manual before use.

Failure to comply with the safety instructions may result in the endangering of people as well
as the environment and the facility. Failure to comply with the safety instructions may lead to
loss of any claims for damages. The operator of the facility must ensure that the contents of
the manual, especially the safety instructions for the operators, are known.
General information

The device must not be operated in potentially explosive areas.
−
Protect device from damage and the effect of strong heat.
−
The device must only be operated with the original 18 V battery that was intended for the device.
−
Use of another battery may cause damage to the device, or create a fire hazard. Prevent any
bridging of the contacts of unused batteries.
−
The battery must only be recharged with the charger provided.
−
Before charging, ensure that the power supply matches the specifications on the nameplate of
the charger.
−
The ventilation slits on the top and bottom of the charger should not be covered during the
charging process.
−
Do not operate the battery charger on inflammable surfaces (e. g., paper, wood, textiles, etc.) or
surroundings. The heating of the battery charger during the charging process can pose a fire
hazard.
−
Do not charge battery if the temperature reaches below 0 ° C or above 40 ° C.
−
Do not charge battery in a damp or wet environment.
−
Only dispose of used batteries professionally in accordance with EC directive 91/157/EEC.
The battery pack contains rechargeable NiCad batteries. Liquid may leak from the battery in the
case of incorrect use, avoid contact with it.

When sending Li-Ion batteries, the applicable legal regulations must be observed.
−
In order to prevent grease spilling onto the floor, the grease gun must not be used in the rain.
−
The setting of the pressure relief valve must never be changed.
−
If the gun should become blocked, do not press the START button further.
Never point the grease hose at people or animals! Risk of injury!
Instructions for preparatory measures / handling

Observe safety data sheets for hazardous substances (grease) used.
−
Protective gloves made of leather and goggles must be worn during use.
−
When lubricating the high-pressure hose, only hold in the region of the nozzle.
−
Do not bend high-pressure hose sharply.
