USB connection
A PC can be connected via the
USB
interface. The connection cable is
included (USB A to USB B). Before connecting the FlowStar to a PC make
sure the driver software was installed properly before. Otherwise the de-
vice will not be discovered and installed in the Windows device manager.

The scintillator pump LB 5037 is controlled through the serial port of the
FlowStar². The socket (9 pin male sub-D) is located next to the USB con-
nector. The connection cable is included with the scope of supply of the
pump.

Pump analog
is the connection socket for
the control of the older scintillator pump LB 5035-3 or other pumps con-
trolled by an analog pump flow signal.
Waste / FC / FC
The fraction collector control and the waste valve are connected to the
4-pin socket

hardware using the cable supplied (loose ends).
