Pull the locking handle (9) up and rotate to the
side.
Place the child into the seat. Fasten the harness,
leg harness, if applicable.
Rotate the seat back to forward facing position.
Make sure the locking pin (8) enters the
positioning hole, click. We recommend that the
back of the chair is supported when placing the
child into the car seat in the swing out position.

Installation in the car
1. Install the BeSafe iZi Up X1 Handicap with
or without the turning base.
Installation with the turning base:
Attach the seat to the turning base before
inserting into the car.
Make sure the Velcro (7) on the iZi Up and the
turning base are matching.
Put the seat with the base on the car seat.
Push the flap (6) in the gap between the
car seat backsupport and the car seat.
