Connection
Connect the plug to the mains power supply.
Cable pulling
Pull the cable as follows:
• pull the cable by hand until the required length is achieved;
• the cable is locked by means of the spring ratchet, which is activated in certain pulling points of the cable, which can be heard
through the mechanical noise of the engaged ratchet;
• The automatic safety catch locks the cable, thereby preventing it from winding.
Cable winding
Wind the cable as follows:
• pull the cable by hand to automatically release the ratchet;
• ease the cable while winding it, being careful to avoid interference with persons or things;
• the cable is fitted with a cable winding limiting device which stops it, thereby preventing it from winding completely.
Safety catch disconnection
The safety catch of the cable reel can be cut out as follows:
During this operation, the cable must be completely rewound.
Always disconnect the power supply before carrying out any jobs on the cable reel.
• open the side cover on the cable reel by unscrewing its fixing screws;
• release the ratchet spring from fixing point 1 and hook it to fixing point 0; (see below picture)
• put back the cover, replacing and tightening the screws correctly.
Thermal protection
Overloads will trip the thermal protection switch (D) outwards to cut off the power.
Restore the correct operating conditions; then press the button to let power through.
