• The activity sensor is in “sleep mode”. To exit “sleep mode”, press and hold the
“Touch” button for 3 seconds. “Good Morning” appears on the display of the
activity sensor.

Bluetooth

is not activated on your smartphone or on the AS 98. Activate
Bluetooth
®
in the settings of your smartphone and on the AS 98, as described
in section 7.10.
• The battery in the activity sensor is depleted. If the activity sensor does not
switch on, charge it with the USB charging cable supplied.
• Check that you are using the correct app. A data transfer is only possible with
the “beurer HealthManager” app.
The activity sensor is connected to another smartphone. You can tell whether the
AS 98 is connected to a smartphone, as you will see a blue
Bluetooth
®
symbol on
the main screen of the AS 98.
Disconnect the activity sensor first before connecting it to another smartphone.
iPhone:
If you are using an iPhone and the
Bluetooth

connection cannot be established, first
disconnect
Bluetooth
®
in the “beurer HealthManager” app. Then go to
Bluetooth

in
your iPhone settings and delete the AS 98 from the list of connected
Bluetooth

de-
vices. Now re-connect the AS 98 in the “beurer HealthManager” app via
Bluetooth
