7. Initial use
You can operate the device using the battery or the mains adapter supplied.
Charging the battery
You must fully charge the battery for approx. 90 minutes before the first use. The operating period of the device is ap-
prox. 60 minutes when it is fully charged.
To charge the battery, proceed as follows:
1. Ensure that the device is switched off before charging the battery.
2. Connect the mains adapter to a suitable socket.
3. Plug the other end of the mains adapter into the connection socket on the underside of the device. The charge indicator
will now flash in the display and the charging status indicator lights up white. The charging process will be displayed by
the flashing charging status indicator and the illuminated charge indicator. If the battery is fully charged, the charging
status indicator lights up continuously. You can see the precise battery charge level from the battery indicator.
4. Once the charging process is complete, pull the mains adapter out of the socket and the device.
