Operation
Note
Please thoroughly mix the bath water to ensure an accurate measurement.
Note
Always check the bath water temperature before bathing your baby!
Recommended water temperature
Small children: 36 °C – 38 °C
Adults: 38 °C – 40 °C
Switch on the bath thermometer by briefly pressing the On/Off button
on
the front of the thermometer.
Whilst the measured temperature remains below 20 °C (68.0 °F), “Lo °C (Lo °F)”
will be shown in the display. If temperatures above 60 °C (140 °F) are measured,
“Hi °C (Hi °F)” will appear in the display.
This bath thermometer comes equipped with a hot water alarm. If the water
temperature exceeds 38 °C, the LED lights up red. This means the water is too
hot for your baby and there is a danger of scalding.
If the bath water temperature is between 36 °C and 38 °C, the LED lights up
green and you can bathe your baby.
If the LED does not light up, the bath water temperature is below 36 °C.
To switch off the device, press the On/Off button
again.
The bath thermometer switches off automatically after 10 minutes.
