Setting the measuring unit
You can set the device to display the temperature in degrees Celsius (°C) and
degrees Fahrenheit (°F). To set the unit, keep the On/Off button
of the ther-
mometer pressed for 5 seconds.
The battery life is approx. 1 year.
When the batteries get weak, the battery warning symbol appears
. It is still
possible to measure temperature. The batteries must be replaced.
Changing the batteries
For this purpose, unlock the battery compartment lid
on the back. Insert a coin into the corresponding slot
in the battery compartment lid and turn the battery
compartment lid to the unlocked position.
Remove the battery compartment lid.
Insert the new LR 43 batteries. Rechargeable batteries
must not be used in the bath thermometer. Make sure
that the positive marks (+) point up and the negative
marks (-) point down.
Refit the battery compartment lid and turn it to the locked position.
Advice on batteries
• Batteries can be fatal if swallowed. You should therefore store the batteries
and products where they are inaccessible to small children. If a battery has
been swallowed, call a doctor immediately.
• Batteries should not be charged or reactivated with any other means, nor
should they be taken apart, thrown in the fire or short-circuited.
