6.6 Full water tank
If the water tank is full, the water tank symbol ( ) is illuminated on the display and 10 acoustic signals are
sounded. The air dehumidifier automatically starts operation.
To empty the water tank, proceed as follows:
1. Press the POWER button to switch off the air dehumidifier.
2. Carefully pull the water tank out backwards.
3. Empty the water from the water tank into a sink.
4. Insert the empty water tank into the air dehumidifier.
After the water tank has been removed and replaced, the air dehumidifier must only be re-
started after three minutes; this is to prevent the in-built compressor from being damaged.
6.7 Automatic switch-off
To avoid damage to the air dehumidifier, dehumidifying is automatically stopped in the following cases
(automatic switch-off):
– If the temperature sensor detects a temperature below 0°C. Additional acoustic signals sound.
– If the temperature sensor records a temperature above 40°C. Additional acoustic signals sound.
If the air dehumidifier is stopped by automatic switch-off, when it is next started up it will be in fac-
tory settings (fan speed high
, continuous dehumidifying
, temperature display in °C). If the air
dehumidifier is switched off with the power button, when it is next started up it will not be in factory
settings but in the last settings used.
6.8 Condensate hose
As an alternative to using the water tank, you can also route the water removed directly down a drain using
the supplied condensate hose.
1. Ensure that the air dehumidifier is switched off.
2. Pull out the water tank.
3. Connect the condensate hose as shown inside the LE 40.
4. Feed the hose through the opening in the water tank.
5. Slide the water tank back into the device and if necessary pull the condensate hose upwards so that there
are no kinks in the condensate hose.
6. Switch the air dehumidifier on again. The water extracted from the air is now drained directly into an outlet
through the condensate hose.
IMPORTANT
Ensure that there is sufficient gradient between the hose connector and the outlet to allow the accu-
mulating condensate water to flow away. Ensure that the end of the condensate hose is positioned flat
against the outlet.
