• Only use chargers specified in the instructions for use.
• Batteries must be charged correctly prior to use. The instructions from the manufacturer and the
specifications in these instructions for use regarding correct charging must be observed at all times.
• Fully charge the battery prior to initial use (see Chapter 6).
• In order to achieve as long a battery service life as possible, fully charge the battery at least twice
per year.
Repairs
WARNING
• Only specialist personnel may perform repairs on electrical devices. Improper repairs may subject
users to considerable danger. For repairs, please contact Customer Services or an authorised
retailer.
• The zip fastening of the Shiatsu massager must not be opened. It is only used for technical pro-
duction reasons.
Risk of fire
WARNING
There is a risk of fire if the device is used improperly or these instructions for use are ignored.
Therefore
• never use the massager underneath a cover, such as a blanket, pillow, etc.
• never use the device near petrol or other highly flammable substances.
Handling
IMPORTANT
The device must be switched off and disconnected from the mains after every use and before cleaning.
• Do not insert any objects into the device apertures or the rotating parts. Ensure that the moving
parts can move freely at all times.
• Do not place your full weight on the moving parts of the device or place any objects on the device.
• Do not expose the device to high temperatures.
Disposal
IMPORTANT
• The empty, completely flat rechargeable batteries must be disposed of through specially designated
collection boxes, recycling points or electronics retailers. You are legally required to dispose of the
rechargeable batteries.
• Remove the battery from the device by opening the zip fastener and removing the cover as far as
possible. Unscrew all of the screws on the housing, and remove the housing cover. The battery is
located under the massage heads.
• The codes below are printed on rechargeable batteries containing harmful substances:
Pb = Battery contains lead,
Cd = Battery contains cadmium,
Hg = Battery contains mercury
For environmental reasons, do not dispose of the device in the household waste at the end of its
useful life.
Dispose of the device at a suitable local collection or recycling point.
Dispose of the device in accordance with EC Directive – WEEE (Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment).
If you have any questions, please contact the local authorities responsible for waste
disposal.
The device battery must be disposed of separately. The battery must not be disposed of with
domestic waste.
