mode
is activated by default when pressing the POWER mode. In
Sport
pedalling assistance is at maximum, and as a
result the action ratio shall be significantly reduced.
During a journey, a suitable selection of assistance modes considering the surface or pedalling conditions
encountered will provide you an optimum ratio between battery economy and pedalling comfort.

On / Off of the lighting system
The E-MOTION's electrical system is independent from the pedal assistance system, which uses the Ion-
Lithium battery to activate the lighting. This system operates regardless of the assistance mode activated or
deactivated. The lighting system activates when pushing the lower button of the control console. If pressed a
second time, it disconnects. The battery has a residual capacity that even when discharged for pedal assistance it
guarantees supply for lighting.

Error message
If the charge level and the assistance mode indicators flash alternatively, the system presents a malfunction.
When this happens, stop the motor and start it again by pressing the POWER button, taking special precaution
in not applying force on the pedal. If the problem persists, stop the motor and contact an E-MOTION store.

Due to using a battery that performs at a power of 26V for supplying the lighting system, E-
MOTION has a special front light which may be purchased in any E-MOTION store. Its replacement
for a standard front light will blow the electrical system's fuse.
