On your mobile device (e.g. a phone), en-
sure that Bluetooth function is enabled and
search for Bluetooth enabled devices in the
connectivity setting menu. Switch on the
hearing system. Your hearing system can
now be paired. Your device shows a list
of Bluetooth enabled devices. Select your
hearing instrument from the list to pair it.
Connecting to the device
After your hearing system contact forte has
been paired to your mobile device, they
will automatically connect again when
switched on.
The connection will be maintained as
long as the mobile device remains ON
and within range.

Flight mode
Your hearing system contact forte operates
between 2.4 GHz – 2.48 GHz frequency
range. When boarding a flight, wireless
functionality must be deactivated because
radio signals may not be transmitted duri-
ng flights. Enter ing flight mode will not
disable normal hearing system function ality,
only the Bluetooth connectivity functions.
Activate flight mode
To disable the wireless function and activate
flight mode in the hearing system: Press
the (+) control button (Symbolic image 4)
for approx. 5 seconds until a 3-fold acoustic
signal sounds.
In flight mode, your hearing system cannot
connect directly to your mobile device.
