Required information
The following additional information is
provided in compliance with U.S. Food and
Drug Adminis-tration (FDA) regulations:
Warning to Hearing Aid Dispensers
A hearing aid dispenser should advise a
prospective hearing aid user to consult
promptly with a licensed physician (pre-
ferably an ear specialist) before dispensing
a hearing aid if the hearing aid dispenser
determines through inquiry, actual obser-
vation, or review of any other available
information concerning the prospective
user, that the prospective user has any of
the following conditions:
i Visible congenital or traumatic defor-
mity of the ear.
ii History of active drainage from the ear
within the previous 90 days.
If your BHM hearing system does not work,
it must be repaired by a qualified service
technician. Do not try to open the hearing
system casing, as this will void the guaran-
tee and warranty for the hearing system.
The guarantee does not cover any defect
or damage to your hearing system resul-
ting from the use of accessories that do not
come from BHM.
Disposal
Your hearing system plus wearing options
and battery is a modern technology product
that must be disposed of responsibly within
the scope of environmental protection. As
such, please take these items to a special
disposal site. Your specialist adviser will
be happy to help you in this.
