9.11 Visual inspection of appliance
Visually inspect all water joints, seals and
connections for any evidence of leakage and
retighten, grease or replace them as neces-
sary.
9.12 Checking the gas supply pres-
sure
Check appliance for gas tightness.
Recheck operational pressures as described
in section "Checking the gas supply pressure"
to page 57 of this manual.
9.13 Water inhibitor concentration
Where chemical products are used the level
of water treatment should be checked on an
annual basis and re treated after full or partial
drain down.
A conductivitymeter can be used to check the
correct concentration of inhibitor in the heat-
ing water.
9.14 Setting the boiler chimney
sweep function
With the boiler set in chimney sweep mode, it
is possible to exclude some boiler automatic
functions making check and control opera-
tions easier.
• Enter in "programming mode" by pressing
keys 12 - 15 - 16 (Fig. 9.19) for 10 seconds
at the same time until the letters
P01
are
displayed on the LCD display, indicating that
"parameter 01" (Fig. 9.20) has been acti-
vated.
