Valve Block Wiring
The Danfoss PVE-Cl Solenoids are wired up as

states.
Therefore the following pinout for all M12 connectors on the
CAN Network are as tabulated below. The pressure
transducers are already hard wired however the rotary
sensors require wiring but should be wired and sealed from
factory. The colouring specified in the table below is for the
valve block Solenoids.

Valve Block Spools
On the valve block there a two solenoids which drives the
spools, proportional (PVEA) and On/Off (PVEO). For the
PVEO Solenoids, the flow demand is set through the
software at a constant 250 as that is the only flow rate the
PVEO responds to. This means that the joystick has to be
pushed all the way forward for the function to work. This
setting is programmed directly into the software cannot be
altered. For the PVEA solenoids, the setting of the valve
can vary between 0 and 250, however referencing

you see there is no flow until 1.5mm of movement, the
relationship between movement is linear therefore you will
only find the spool operates between approximately 140
and 250. This means that the joystick will control the speed
of the hydraulic function
There can then be different types of spools within the valve
block which gets drive by the above solenoids.
•
Motor Spools - Lets pressure within the system to be
drained back into the tank.
•
Cylinder Spools - Holds pressure within the system.
