The putting out of service of the protection and safety devices for protecting the operators is the
sole responsibility of the Purchaser or the Machine's user.
Finally, we remind you that the handling, installation, use, maintenance and putting out of service
of the machine represent a source of danger if these operations are not performed in compliance
with the requirements of this Manual or without the necessary caution and attention required.
(More details regarding the Risk Assessment to be requested from the Manufacturer).
3.4
Operator protections
Before starting any type of work on the lifting platform, the operator must
wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), such as gloves and
safety footwear.
Always wear work clothing normally used in the mechanical workshop
activity.
3.5
Safety systems
The central lifting platform (see Figure 2) consists of a lifting structure through a hydraulic pedal
system for loading and unloading.
The fall protection system (shown in red in the following figure) consists of:
a mobile anchoring toothed bar on the
base, always operated with manual
release by means of a pedal
always check that the toothed bar and the lifting arms are correctly interlocked,
During the use of the lifting platform it is very important to pay the utmost attention to the ascent
and descent maneuvers.
The personnel who are not in charge of using the lift must not pass or stand in the operating area
of the motor vehicles lifting platform.
