Operating principle of extraction
The terminal deactivates the output contact called "slow" when the extracted quantity reaches the
value given by the (requested - slow - fall) difference.
The terminal deactivates the output contact called "requested" when the extracted quantity reaches
the value given by the (requested - fall) difference.
After this, the terminal waits for a valid and stable weight condition. While an invalid weight annuls
the cycle, the terminal waits for the stability condition for the maximum time defined during the
installation phase, after which it proceeds with the weighing operation.
After weight control and regardless of the result, the terminal activates the "End of extraction" output
to inform the operator that he can proceed by unloading the scale or restarting the weighing line.
Meanwhile, if a valid weight has been detected, the terminal acquires the extracted weight and
checks whether the value is within the tolerance range given by (requested quantity - minus
tolerance) and (requested quantity + plus tolerance). The "off range" output contact is activated if
this does NOT occur.
If automatic printout was enabled during the installation phase, the terminal prints the extraction
cycle, otherwise only totalizing will take place. The printed items are: date, time, consecutive
number, product code and product description, lot code, extracted weight.
(The consecutive number, product code and lot code will only appear if the entered value is not null).
Once the printout has terminated correctly or in the case of a negligible fault, the consecutive
number will increase and the accomplished cycle will be totalized. The weight totalized is the
extracted quantity.
After totalizing, the terminal shuts down the extraction cycle and returns to the "extraction page with
extraction NOT activated". It will now be possible to request a new cycle start.
