Name: User defined description to identify the new policy/application created.
Time Schedule: Schedule your prioritization policy.
Priority: The priority given to each policy/application. Its default setting is set to High. You may adjust this setting
to fit your policy / application.
Protocol: The name of the supported protocol.
Source IP Address Range: The source IP address or the range of the packets to be monitored.
Source Port: The source port of the packets to be monitored.
Destination IP address Range: The destination IP address or range of packets to be monitored.
Destination Port: The destination port of the packets to be monitored.
DSCP Marking: Differentiated Services Code Point (DSCP), it is the first 6 bits in the ToS byte. DSCP Marking
allows users to classify the traffic of the application to be executed according to the DSCP value. See Table 4 for
DSCP Mapping Table
.
Note: Make sure that the router(s) in the network backbone are capable of executing and checking the DSCP
throughout the QoS network.
