Permissible ambient humidity: 70 % r.H. max., non-condensing.
When operating the chamber at temperature set-points below ambient temperature, high ambient humid-
ity may lead to condensation on the unit.
•
Installation height: max. 2000 m above sea level.
When placing several units of the same size side by side, maintain a minimum distance of 250 mm be-
tween each unit. Wall distances: rear 100 mm, sides 160 mm. Spacing above the unit of at least 100 mm
must also be accounted for.
CAUTION
Danger by stacking.
Damage to the units.
∅
Do NOT place temperature test chambers on top of each other.
To completely isolate the unit from the power supply, you must disconnect the power plug. Install the unit
in a way that the power plug is easily accessible and can be easily disconnected in case of danger.
With an increased amount of dust in the ambient air, clean the condenser fan (by suction or blowing)
several times a year.
Avoid any conductive dust in the ambiance according to the unit layout complying with pollution degree 2
(IEC 61010-1).
The temperature test chamber MK must not be installed and operated in potentially explosive areas.
DANGER
Explosion hazard.
Danger of death.
∅
Do NOT operate the unit in potentially explosive areas.
∅
KEEP explosive dust or air-solvent mixtures AWAY from the vicinity of the unit.

length and 3 internal overload releases against excess-current.
•
Power plug: CEE plug 5-poles, 16 Amp
•
Tension: 400 V +/-10 %
•
Current type: 3 N~
•
Power frequency: 50 Hz
•

Prior to connection and start-up, check the power supply voltage. Compare the values to the data speci-
fied on the type plate of the unit (left unit side, bottom right-hand, chap. 1.4)
When connecting, please observe the regulations specified by the local electricity supply company and
as well as the VDE directives (for Germany)
