Gun Connection
Ensure the maximum operating excess pressure generated by the pump does not
exceed the maximum operating excess pressure of the gun !
If the maximum operating excess pressure of the equipment exceeds the one of the gun, the gun
must not be connected.
Once this has been checked the procedure will be as follows:
•
Connect high pressure hose of the equipment to swivel (30) of the gun. Check for tight
connection.
•
Insert tip into tip grip protection.
•
Insert washer.
•
Tighten tip grip protection using a wrench.
•
If you are using a turning tip like Super ZIP or similar, check its allowed operating excess
pressure and install according to installation instructions.
•
Start initial setup procedure of the pump according to the pump Service Manual.
•
Refer to all operating and safety precautions of this service manual and of the pump manual.
