This sec ti on on ly des cri bes the functions on the elmeg hybird or the PABX.
Line key (Subscriber line key)
You can set up di al ling to an in ter nal ex ten si on using a line key. Af ter pres sing the cor re spon ding key, hands free is
swit ched on and the in ter nal ex ten si on en te red is se lec ted.
If al rea dy on a call, the call is held and the des ti na ti on ex ten si on call af ter pres sing the line key.
If a call is sig nal led on the in ter nal ex ten si on you have en te red, you can pick this up by pres sing the line key.
Call wai ting sig nals are in di ca ted by a fli cke ring LED on the line key. By pres sing this key you can pick up the call from
any ex ten si on wit hin the group.
Held calls are not indicated by the LED.
Line key (Team line key)
A team key is a nor mal line key to which the in ter nal num ber of a team is as sig ned. Af ter pres sing the cor re spon ding
key, hands free is swit ched on and the team en te red is se lec ted. If a call is sig nal led for the en te red team, you can pick
this up by pres sing the team key.

The LED on the key in di ca tes the re spec ti ve sta tus:
LED off:
No con nec ti on.
LED on:
Exi sting con nec ti on.
LED flas hes:
Con nec ti on on hold.
LED fli ckers:
In co ming call / call wai ting.
Line key
PABX
This performance feature is not currently supported by elmeg hybird!
A B-chan nel of an ex ter nal ISDN con nec ti on is set up using a line key. If this key is pres sed, hands free is swit ched on
au to ma ti cal ly and the cor re spon ding B-chan nel of the ISDN con nec ti on is as sig ned. You then hear the ex ter nal di al -
ling tone.
If an ex ter nal call is sig nal led on anot her in ter nal sys tem te le pho ne, you can pick this up by pressing the line key.

If this key is pres sed, hands free is swit ched on au to ma ti cal ly and the cor re spon ding ex ter nal con nec ti on (ISDN, SIP
or FXO) is as sig ned. You then hear the ex ter nal di al ling tone.
If an ex ter nal call is sig nal led on the LED of the line key, you can pick this up by pres sing the key. Here you can pick up
up to 4 calls by pres sing the line key. If you pick up 4 calls, this is dis play ed by the lights on the LED.
