Safety feature
Temperature-controlled safety shutdown:
When the heating device is overheated, the
temperature-controlled shutdown mechanism will temporarily switch off the device. To
reconnect it, switch off the heater for 5 to 10 minutes to allow it to cool down.
This can also be an indication that the fan has failed. In this case, switch the heater off,
unplug it, and contact an authorized professional for repairs.
5. Cleaning and service
1. Always unplug the line from the socket when cleaning the heating unit.
2. A slight collection of dust can be removed from the housing with a soft cloth or a
vacuum cleaner while using the brush accessory. Dust in the interior can often be
removed with the vacuum cleaner using the blower setting with the nozzle attachment.
3. Occasionally wipe the exterior surfaces of the unit with a damp cloth (not dripping wet).
In this case, use a solution with mild detergent and water. Before operating the fan
heater again, carefully dry the housing with a soft cloth. CAUTION: Do not allow water
to penetrate the interior of the heater, as this can cause a fire or short circuit.
4. Never submerge the device in water. Danger of electrocution!
5. No other servicing by the user is needed or recommended. When servicing is required,
send your heating unit to the nearest authorized service center.
6. If the device is not used for extended periods, it must be protected from excess dust
and dirt.
