Creamy Pumpkin
Soup
Ingredients
•
500g - 800g pumpkin (i.e.
Hokkaido pumpkin or crookneck
squash)
•
1 leek stalk
•
1 large carrot
•
1l chicken or vegetable broth
•
150ml creamy cooking cream or
crème fraîche
•
salt & pepper
•
nutmeg
•
chili peppers
Preparation
1. Peel pumpkin, remove seeds
and cut into 2cm cubes. Wash
the leek, the carrot and the chili
peppers and cut into 1cm rings.
2. Add all ingredients to the glass
jug and add the broth. Place the
lid on the jug and the jug onto
the base. Select “SOUP”, then
press “START/STOP” to start the
program.
3. Season the finished soup with
salt, pepper and nutmeg and
add 150ml cooking cream to the
jug. Press the “PULSE/ CLEAN”
button and briefly blend.
4. Serve the soup and slightly blend
in a dab of cooking cream or
crème fraîche. Sprinkle chopped
herbs on top as desired.
