Placing Event Markers during an Acquisition
After starting a Logger acquisition, the button icons on the “Acquire” screen will change appearance to allow for the
insertion of event markers. Event markers are useful for noting a particular point of interest in the data which can be
examined in greater detail after the logged data is imported into Acq
Knowledge.
There are three basic event marker
types that can be inserted during acquisition:

To insert an event at any time during acquisition, simply press the button corresponding to the desired event type.
Repeated presses will create additional events.
Manually Stopping an Acquisition
To manually abort (stop) an acquisition before it has completed its run, hold down the leftmost button. When the
button icon changes to an upward arrow
,
press the “Back”
button.
To save the completed portion of the aborted acquisition, press the “Select”
button.
To discard the acquisition, press the “Back”
button to return to the Main Screen.
Adding an Audio Note
Add an audio note at any time during acquisition by holding down the rightmost
“microphone” button. Speak
clearly in order for the built-in Logger microphone to pick up the audio. When finished speaking, release the button.
You may add as many audio notes as you wish during an acquisition.
Audio notes will be imported into Acq
Knowledge
along with the logged data and accompanying events.
Configure Menu
The Configure menu is the second entry in the Main Screen, and displays menus for setting the time and date, and for
adjusting the Logger settings.

Set calendar date using the navigation buttons. Select “SET” to accept settings.

Set time using navigation buttons. Select “SET” to accept settings.
Time Format
Set 12 or 24 hour time format using the rightmost button.
Date & Time
Time Zone
Sets the time zone in terms of hours away from Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) using the
navigation buttons. Select “SET” to accept settings.
