•
The rear lights at the scooter must always be visible to other road
users.
•
If possible, wear bright, conspicuous clothing. This will make it
easier for other road users to see you.
•
Please note that the upholstery will heat up if directly exposed
to sunlight and may cause injuries to your skin when touched.
You should therefore cover these parts or protect the scooter from
exposure to direct sunlight.
•
The seat materials comply with the flammability resistance
requirements of EN 1021-1 and EN 1021-2. Nevertheless, you
should exercise the necessary caution if you are smoking and
refrain from putting any cigarettes down on the scooter.
•
Reporting incidents. The operator or user must immediately report
1. any malfunction
2. any change to the features or performance as well as
3. any inaccuracies in the marking or operating instructions of
a medical device, which has or could have led to death or to a
serious deterioration of the health of a patient, an employee or a
third party, to the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices
(BfArM). This institute will immediately forward the notification
to the operator’s competent authority and also inform the
manufacturer and the manufacturer’s competent authority.
•
Please note that operation in pushing mode by disengaging
the drives must take place only on a level surface. The electro-
mechanical brake is thereby disabled. There is a danger of fatal
injury if this instruction is not complied with.
The braking distance is significantly longer on a
downhill gradient than on level ground. Keep this
in mind when driving on sloping terrain and brake
in time.
2.2. Information on EMC
interference
Despite compliance with all applicable EMC directives and standards, it
is possible that the scooter may affect or be affected by other electrical
devices (e.g. mobile phones, alarm systems in department stores).
If you become aware of any such interference, either turn off the other
device or turn off your scooter and move it outside the range of the
interference.
2.3. Safety in vehicles
The Centuro Mini is not suitable for use as a car seat. Under no
circumstances may it be used as such. It does not meet the requirements
stipulated by ISO 7176-19. Failure to observe this instruction can lead
to extremely serious or fatal injuries in the event of an accident.
Your scooter is not suitable for use on the designated buses in the
public transport network.
2.4. Use on Public Roads
The scooter is designed for indoor and outdoor use. Please keep in
mind that you are using public roads and therefore have to observe all
road traffic regulations.
Do not endanger other road users through inconsiderate driving,
especially on walkways.
