3.5.3. Seat
The seat can be rotated, it can slide forwards and backwards and its
height can be adjusted in three levels.
Rotating the seat
•
Push down the lever located on the right underneath the seat
surface (fig. 7).. The seat can now be rotated in both directions.
•
There is a fixed lock-in position for the seat every 45°.
•
Release the lever and make sure that the seat is locked in position
again.
Moving the seat
•
Loosen the four screws on the underside of the seat (fig. 8).
•
You can now slide the seat forwards or backwards.
•
Once you have set it to the desired position, retighten all four
screws.
Seat height
You will need an 8 mm Allen key and a 17 mm wrench.
•
You will firstly need to remove the seat. Fold the backrest forwards
onto the seat surface. You can easily remove the seat by lifting it
upwards. To make it easier, rotate the seat 90° to the side. Take
hold of it on the seat surface in front and the backrest on the rear;
in a central position in both cases (fig. 9). The seat is now easy to
lift and pull out of the mounting. Carefully place the seat down on
its rear side. Please note that lubricant residue may be present on
the seat column.

The seat weighs 8.4 kg, please ask for assistance with lifting if
necessary.

Release the quick-release lever used to fasten the battery unit and
slide it upwards so that you can comfortably remove the battery
unit.
•
Remove the battery unit (fig. 10).
•
Loosen the nut (17 mm) and pull out the hexagon socket screw (8
mm) (fig. 11). Move the seat post to the desired position inside the
tube guide to the nearest hole and guide the screw through the
relevant hole.
•
Then retighten the nut.
•
Place the battery unit back in position.
•
Slide the quick-release mechanism over the side of the battery unit
and close the quick-release lever (see p. 16, “Locking the battery
unit” section).
•
Now place the seat back onto the mounting.
•
Make sure that it is locked in position once again.
