3.5.4. Armrests
The armrests can be swivelled upwards to make it easier to get in and
out. In addition, the side distance and angle of support of the armrests
can be adjusted.
Side distance
•
Undo the hand screw (fig. 16) on the back of the backrest frame
while holding onto the armrest.
•
Adjust to the required distance and tighten the screw once again.
•
The armrests can also be removed (e.g. for replacement, storage or
transportation) after undoing the screw on the back of the frame
(fig. 16).
Angle of support
•
You can adjust the angle of support of the armrests by screwing
the knurled nut (fig. 17) on the relevant armrest further in or by
unscrewing it.
Locking the battery unit
To ensure that the battery unit is securely fastened, even on uneven
surfaces, the locking ring with the quick-release lever should lie
against the battery unit. The plastic loop that holds the battery unit is
positioned on the side.
During the locking process, the quick-release lever is guided over the
drive unit’s unlocking lever (fig. 13) and pushed against the column
(fig. 14).
