6. Care instructions for the user
6.1. Cleaning and disinfection
Cleaning
•
Make sure that the scooter is switched off before starting to clean
it.
•
The frame components and panels of the scooter can be wiped with
a damp cloth. You can use a standard mild cleaning agent if they
are very dirty.
•
The wheels can be cleaned with a damp brush with plastic bristles
(do not use a wire brush).
•
You can use a damp cloth to remove dust and minor dirt from the
seat, back rest and armrests. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents
because they may attack the surface of the material. The upholstery
can be washed with warm water at 40 °C.
•
Make sure that the electrical and electronic components do not
come into contact with water unnecessarily.
Disinfection
•
The scooter must be thoroughly cleaned in accordance with the
instructions prior to disinfection.
•
Use a standard disinfectant for wipe disinfection.
•
Spray the upholstery and handles.
•
Allow the disinfectant sufficient time to work before wiping off, as
specified in the manufacturer’s instructions.
•
Make sure that the electrical and electronic components do not
come into contact with liquid unnecessarily.
Warning!
Do not use a high-pressure or steam cleaner.
6.2. Check Before Use
6.2.1. Brake Inspection
Make sure your brakes are operating properly before each use.
•
Start off carefully and let go of the throttle lever. The scooter must
come to a complete stop as usual.
•
When stopped, the mechanical brakes must engage with an audible
click. hould you notice any unusual braking behavior, please notify
your dealer right away and ensure the scooter is not being used.
•
The motor brake is functioning correctly if you can’t push the
scooter when it is turned off.
•
Should you nevertheless be able to do so, then the electro-magnetic
brakes are defective. In this case you may no longer use the scooter.
Contact your dealer immediately

6.2.2. Checking the lights, indicators
and horn
Make sure your lights, indicators and horn are functioning properly
before each use.
•
If a unit under inspection does not react when the corresponding
button on the control panel is pushed, please notify your dealer
immediately and ensure the scooter is not being used.
•
The light can be switched on and off under the handlebars. If the
light is not working, contact your specialist retailer.
