OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
BACKLIT DISPLAY
This product has a backlit display to improve visibility. The backlit display will go on
automatically when you first plug in the fan and remain on for about five seconds
before automatically shutting off. The same thing will happen if you touch any button
on the unit or remote control.
SETTING THE CLOCK
When you first plug in your fan, the digital clock will read “12:00”. To set to correct
time, push SPEED button on unit or remote to set the correct hour. Push TIMER
button on unit or remote to set the correct minute. If power is interrupted for any
reason, you will need to manually reset the clock to the correct time.
NOTE:
This is a 24 hour time display. For example, if you want to set the clock to 8pm
you need to set the display to read “20:00”.
REMOTE AND CONTROL PANEL
Power Button:
Press to start or stop the fan.
Speed Button:
Press to select from three speeds: LOW, MEDIUM and HIGH.
Timer Button:
Press to set auto shutoff timer in 30 minute increments ranging from
30 minutes to 12 hours.
Oscillation Button:
Press to start oscillation function. Press again to stop oscillation
function.
M1 Button
:
Press to activate “NATURAL” wind mode. In Natural wind mode, fan
airflow pattern (determined by fan speed) will change randomly to
emulate a natural breeze.
M2 Button :
Press to activate “SLEEP” wind mode. In Sleep wind mode, fan airflow
pattern will change cyclically every 30 minutes.
If fan is on HIGH fan speed when SLEEP wind is activated, unit will operate in HIGH
rhythm airflow pattern for 30 minutes, switch to MEDIUM rhythm airflow pattern for
30 minutes and to LOW rhythm airflow pattern where it will remain.
If fan is on MEDIUM fan speed when SLEEP wind is activated, unit will operate in
MEDIUM rhythm airflow pattern for 30 minutes then switch to LOW rhythm airflow
pattern where it will remain.
If fan is on LOW fan speed when SLEEP wind is activated, unit will operate in LOW
rhythm airflow pattern where it will remain.
NOTES:
All three fan speeds will be reached regardless of whether you are in HIGH,
LOW or MEDIUM rhythm airflow patterns. In addition to the NATURAL and
SLEEP wind modes, there is also a GENERAL wind mode which is the
default when you turn on your fan. In the GENERAL wind mode, there will be
constant output airflow at the speed you selected.
