Electrical safety

Turning the Unit On or Off

NOTE: Refer to the control panel and remote control 

illustrations at the start of this manual for a full list of 

the indicators and buttons mentioned in the sections 

below. 

♦ 

To turn the unit On or Off, plug it into a mains 

socket and press the On/Off button on the unit’s 

control panel. Air will begin emitting from the front 

grille and the LED display will show the currently 

selected temperature to show the unit has been 

powered up. 

♦ 

Press the On/Off button again while the unit is in 

operation to put it into Standby mode. The text ‘Of’ 

will appear on the unit’s LED display and air will 

stop emitting from the front grille to show the unit 

has been put into Standby mode. 

♦ 

Press this button once more while the unit is in 

Standby mode to resume operation.

NOTE: If the fan is put into Standby mode when 

operating on a high heat level or directly after a heat 

setting has been changed, air will continue emitting 

from the front grille for approximately 45-60 seconds 

as the motor cools down. The unit will automatically 

revert to Fan mode and the LED strip around the unit 

will turn blue to indicate this is the case. When the 

motor is fully cooled down, the LED strip around the 

unit will go out and air will stop emitting from the front 

grille, as described above.

♦ 

To turn the unit off completely, unplug it from 

the mains. The unit’s LED display will go out to 

indicate it has been powered down.
