Remove all screws from the battery cover.

Remove the battery cover.
◆
Remove all screws from the housing.
◆
Open the housing.
◆
Pull the battery out and disconnect the wires to remove it
from the tool.
◆
Place the battery in a suitable packaging to ensure that
the terminals cannot be short-circuited.
◆
NiCd and NiMH batteries are recyclable. Take them to
any authorised repair agent or a local recycling station.
