Programming Interfaces
For advanced users, the
IDM
provides application programming interfaces (APIs). For example, system integrators may
find the APIs useful for implementing bespoke features (such as billing) desirable in a tightly-knit enterprise
environment.
The three APIs are:
XML API – Read and write access to the
IDM
(example uses: configure and manage Organisations, users, players,
and alarms).
JSON and JSONP API – Read-only access to the
IDM
(example uses: obtain information on Organisations and
players).
Database views – Read-only access to the
IDM
databases.
The
iCOMPEL Deployment Manager (IDM)
Technical Reference
manual details the APIs.
