About the PC Media Converter (Gigabit)
The PC Media Converter (Gigabit) is a low-cost, IEEE 802.3 single-conversion,
PC Card media converter that converts 1000Base-TX twisted pair to 1000Base-SX
multi-mode or 1000Base-LX single-mode fiber. The PC Media Converter is avail-
able with one RJ-45 connector for the twisted pair port and a SC connector for the
fiber port.
The PC Media Converter is also available for single-strand which allows two
individual channels to share one strand of fiber; Full-Duplex data travels on dif-
ferent wavelengths— 1310 nm and 1550 nm.
The PC Media Converter can be mounted into any PC with a standard PCI or
ISA slot, and includes diagnostic LEDs for each port.

could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.
The use of non-shielded I/O cables may not guarantee compliance with FCC
RFI limits. This digital apparatus does not exceed the Class B limits for radio
noise emission from digital apparatus set out in the Radio Interference
Regulation of the Canadian Department of Communications.
Le présent appareil numérique n’émet pas de bruits radioélectriques dépas-
sant les limites applicables aux appareils numériques de classe B prescrites dans
le Règlement sur le brouillage radioélectrique publié par le ministère des
