the battery power level button
Notes:
This unit’s USB socket does not support data
communication. It only provides 5 volts/2A DC power to an
external USB-powered device.
Some household USB-powered electronics will not operate
with this unit.
Make sure the USB power button is in the off position when
the unit is being recharged or stored.
Using the 12 volt DC power socket
This portable power source is also for use with all 12
volt DC accessories equipped with a male accessory
socket plug and are rated up to 5 amps.
1. Lift up the cover of the unit ‘s 12V DC socket.
2. Insert the 12 volt DC plug from the appliance into
the 12V DC accessory socket on the unit. DO NOT
EXCEED A 5 AMP LOAD.
3. Switch on the appliance and operate as usual.
Periodically press the battery power level button to
check battery status.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
Solution
Unit will not
charge
• Make sure all of the unit’s
functions are turned off.
• Make sure the jack of the mains
charging adapter is properly
connected to both the unit and a
functioning mains power socket.
Unit fails to
jump-start
• Make sure unit’s power switch is in
the on position.
• Check that the unit has a full
charge. Recharge the unit if
necessary.
• Make sure a proper polarity cable
connection has been established.
Problem
Solution
LED Area
Light does
not come on
• Make sure the LED area light
power switch is turned on.
• Check that unit has a full charge.
Recharge the unit if necessary.
Portable
compressor
will not
inflate
• Make sure the compressor power
switch is in the on position.
• Make sure the SureFit™ nozzle
connector is securely screwed on
to the valve stem when attempting
to inflate tires; or that the nozzle
adapter is securely screwed into
the SureFit™ nozzle connector
and is inserted properly into the
item to be inflated on all other
inflatables.
• The compressor may be
overheated. Press the compressor
power switch to turn the
compressor off. Restart after
a cooling down period of
approximately 30 minutes.
• Check that the unit has a full
charge. Recharge the unit if
necessary.
Mains
outlet will
not power
appliance
• Make sure the inverter power
switch is switched on.
• Make sure the appliance being
powered does not draw more than
200 watts.
• Make sure you have followed all
the steps in the mains portable
power supply instructions
carefully. Refer to the important
notes included in that section that
explain common problems and
solutions.
• Check that unit has a full charge.
Recharge the unit if necessary.
USB port will
not power
appliance
• Make sure the USB charging port
power button is in the on position.
• Make sure the the appliance does
not draw more than 2 amps.
• Some USB-powered household
electronics will not operate
with this USB charging/power
port. Check the manual of the
corresponding electronic device to
confirm that it can be used with
this type of USB charging/power
port.
• Check that unit has a full charge.
Recharge unit if necessary.
Important!
If the connections to the battery’s
positive and negative terminals are incorrect, the
Reverse Polarity Indicator will light and the unit
will sound a continuous alarm until the clamps
are disconnected. Disconnect clamps and
reconnect to battery with correct polarity.
7. Turn the jump-starter power switch to the on
position.
8. Start the vehicle and crank the engine in 3 to 6
second bursts.
Important!
If the engine doesn’t start within 6
seconds let the units internal battery cool for 3
minutes before making another attempt.
9. When the vehicle starts, turn the jump-starter on/
off switch to the off position.
10. Leave the vehicle’s engine running.
11. Disconnect the clamp connected to the engine
block or chassis first, followed by the clamp that
is connected to the positive (+) battery terminal.
Recharge this unit fully after each use.
Using the pivoting LED area light
The pivoting area light is controlled by the area light
power switch on top of the light. Make sure the area
light is turned off when the unit is being recharged or
stored.
Periodically press the battery power level button to
check battery status.
Using the portable compressor
The built-in 12 volt DC compressor is the ultimate
compressor for all vehicle tyres, trailer tyres and
recreational inflatables. The compressor can operate
long enough to fill up to 3 average sized tyres before
the battery must be recharged.
INFLATING TYRES OR PRODUCTS WITH VALVE
STEMS
1. Screw the SureFit™ nozzle onto the valve stem.
Do not overtighten.
2. Turn on the compressor power switch.
3. Check pressure with the pressure gauge.
4. When desired pressure is reached, turn off the
compressor power switch.
5. Unscrew and remove the SureFit™ nozzle from
the valve stem.
6. Allow the unit to cool, then recharge before
storing away.
7. Store the compressor hose and SureFit™ nozzle in
the storage compartment.
INFLATING OTHER INFLATABLES WITHOUT
VALVE STEMS
Inflation of other items requires use of the nozzle
adapter.
1. Screw the adapter into the SureFit™ nozzle. Do
not overtighten.
2. Insert the adapter into item to be inflated.
3. Turn on the compressor power switch — inflate
to desired pressure or fullness.
Important!
Small items such as volleyballs,
footballs, etc. inflate very rapidly. Do not over-
inflate.
4. When desired pressure is reached, turn off the
compressor power switch.
5. Disconnect the adapter from the inflated item.
6. Unscrew and remove the adapter from the
SureFit™ nozzle.
7. Allow the unit to cool, then recharge before
storing away.
8. Store the compressor hose, SureFit™ nozzle and
adapter in the storage compartment.

equipment that generate heat, such as hair dryers, electric
blankets, microwave ovens and toasters.
Some laptop computers may not operate with the unit’s
mains socket.
PROTECTIVE FEATURES
The inverter monitors the following conditions:
Low internal battery voltage:
The inverter will
automatically shut down when the battery voltage
drops too low, as this can harm the battery.
High internal battery voltage:
The inverter will
automatically shut down when the battery voltage is
too high, as this can harm the unit.
Thermal shutdown protection:
The inverter will
automatically shut down when the unit becomes
overheated.
Overload/short circuit protection:
The inverter will
automatically shut down when an overload or short
circuit occurs.
Important Notes:
The inverter power indicator
will flash red to indicate that one of the above fault
conditions is present before automatic shutdown
occurs. Should this occur, take the following steps:
