About Setting Up Email
Choose the best e-mail option for you.
Your BlackBerry smartphone can connect to personal Internet email accounts, corporate email
or both:
•
Personal E-mail Accounts
(like Yahoo!, AOL or Comcast) – See the Personal E-mail Setup
section on the next page to get started. BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) is part of every
BlackBerry service plan and is designed for personal email. Choose this solution if you want
to send and receive email from up to 10 supported Internet email accounts.
•
Corporate E-mail Accounts
(like Microsoft Exchange or Lotus Notes) – Your company
BlackBerry® Enterprise Server (BES) system administrator may have provided you with a
password that can be used to activate your BlackBerry Pearl 8110 over the wireless network.
BlackBerry Enterprise Server is designed for wireless access of your company email, calendar,
and contacts. Contact your BES adminstrator if you do not have a password.
