Description:
This screen is displayed after selecting Item 1 on the Remote STM Configuration menu, while the remote
configuration information is transmitted to the local stat mux. In most cases, the screen is displayed for a very
short interval; however, under certain traffic conditions, you may become aware of the transmission delay, so
this screen is used to notify that the required action is being carried out:
TRANSFER CONFIGURATION FROM REMOTE TO LOCAL
WAIT FOR SAVING ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
If you want to exit, press
Q
.
No action is required on this screen, and after the stat mux receives the remote configuration information, the
Remote STM Configuration menu shown in 25 below, is automatically displayed. However, the screen does
provide you with the option to abort the operation by pressing
Q
; this will return you to the Remote Stat Mux
Configuration menu (23).
25. Remote Stat Mux Configuration Screen
Purpose:
Define the action to be performed on the information about the configuration of the remote stat
mux.

26. Remote Stat Mux Configuration Display Screen
Purpose:
Display the information regarding remote stat mux configuration, received by selecting item 1 on the
Remote STM Configuration menu (23).
Description:
The screen displays the parameters selected for the remote stat mux sub-channels. For the Stat-24, the
information is presented on three consecutive screens. To scroll between the screens, press
N
.
Procedure:
No action is required on this screen, and after the remote configuration information display is no longer
