Adjusting important for choosing the right set of wheel-
chair and can act both on the height and depth.
Height adjustment: the support plate of the rear wheel
can be positioned at different heights:
•
remove the rear wheel (see page 14) “Quick release
pins and wheels for narrow passages”.
•
remove the fi xing screws
•
move the plate up or down (step 2 cm)
•
replace the screws and tighten the nuts.
Depth adjustment:
the plate allows to fi x the bushing (f) in different positions
•
remove the rear wheel (see page 14) “Quick release
pins and wheels for narrow passages”
•
remove the bushing and the respective nut and wa-
sher
•
fi nd the right set-insert the screws in the appropriate
locations and tighten all parts.
The adjustment of the rear wheel can lead to a variation
of the angle of the seat, and in this case it is absolutely
necessary to adjust the height of the front wheel (see
page 13) “Adjusting the front wheels.”
Adjusting the rear wheel
Caution:
the movement of the bushing in the forward position ma-
kes the wheelchair with an attitude “Active”, this will cau-
se the wheelchair rears up with greater ease.
The displacement of the bushing in the retracted position,
makes the wheelchair with a trim “Prudent”.
