Yearly checks
Maintenance should be performed once a year. It is highly
recommended to check the state of the bearings, since
sand, dust and water may damage them. Lightly lubricate
with bicycle resin-free oil.
The frame may be cleaned with hot water and soap
(orhousehold detergent) only. Plastic parts should be cle-
aned with detergents specifi c for this material.
Caution!
Do not use high pressure cleaning equipment. Mechanical
damage may be caused by water jets.
Chairs must not be cleaned with aggressive cleaning pro-
ducts.
Caution!
All components which come in direct contact with the
skin must be replaced if the wheelchair is given to another
user.
Repairs
In case any repair is needed, contact your Nuova Blan-
dino S.r.l. dealer, who knows how repairs should be per-
formed according to in-house specifi cations and will be
able to offer advice, support and provide repair services.
Spare parts
Order through your dealer. In order to ensure the correct
identifi cation of the spare parts which must be replaced,
indicate the wheelchair frame registration number. For
safety reasons, use spare parts and accessories autho-
rized by Nuova Blandino S.r.l. More information on how
to retrieve the frame registration number are provided
on page 26.
Disposal
The wheelchair packaging materials may be recycled.
The metal parts are collected and recycled in the “old
metal” skip. The fabric and plastic parts may also be
recycled.
Disposal must be performed in compliance with specifi c
national legislation.
