Software Upgrade
The
Upgrade
menu allows the download of new software to the Edge QAM. The download procedure is given
below:
1.
Make connection from Egde QAM to the standard web browser of a PC
(default IP address: 192.168.200.20)
2.
Click on Upgrade and select the new upgrade file
Important:
First
download software (e.g. Release_081_software.web)
then
download firmware (e.g. Release _081_firmware EP3C80.web)
Please avoid a power failure during the upgrade procedure (duration up to 4min)
3.
Please reboot the device after successful upgrade
Check the software version (->
Device Settings
menu)
4.
Check the configuration (should not be changed)
