APPLIANCE OPERATION
Prepare the hair for styling; it should be clean, dry and combed. You can use heat protectants (such as
conditioners, sprays, gels, etc.). Do not use hairspray containing flammable substances. Separate the
hair into strands.
Connect the appliance to the power source. Turn the appliance on and using the + and – buttons set
the selected temperature. During heating, the selected temperature will flash on the display; when the
temperature is reached, the indication will be continuous. It usually takes about 1 minute to reach the
maximum temperature.
Place a strand of hair on the curling tong barrel and hold it with the clamp. Rotate the curling tong by
winding the hair around the barrel. Wait some time (about 10 seconds, depending on the thickness of
the hair and the size of the strand). After a while, open the clamp and remove the hair from the barrel.
Repeat for other strands of hair.
When finished, turn off the curling tong and disconnect the plug from the power socket. Set aside to
cool down.
It is recommended not to comb your hair immediately after styling. A lasting effect is achieved once
your hair has cooled down.
NOTE: the curling tong has a function of automatic button lock. Press the power button twice in one
second to unlock the buttons.
CAUTION: The curling tong automatically turns off after 45 minutes. To resume operation, turn it off
and turn it on again.
CAUTION: Steam may come out of the curling tong during hair styling. It can happen if your hair is not
dry enough or has been treated with products such as hairspray, etc.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Regularly check and remove hair from the curling tong. Clean the barrel and clamp with a damp cloth,
and then wipe it dry. Do not use any sharp accessories for cleaning the surface of the barrel or clamp –
they can be easily scratched. Do not immerse the appliance in water.
