Inner Body
At minimum, regularly remove any spilled ashes that got past your ash tray from the bottom of the Kamado.
Periodically remove any large backed on debris from the inner walls of the unit with a flat scraper and remove.
The inside of your Kamado will darken after the first use and there is no need to try to clean this finish off of the
grill.
Hinge mechanism, Kamado feet, lid handle, and venting handles and hardware
The hinge mechanism should be checked regularly to ensure the fasteners are secure to the grill body. Periodic
lubrication of this mechanism will also smooth opening and closing of the grill over time. All hardware for the above
mentioned items will need to be periodically checked for tightness ensuring they do not come loose over time.
