When turned on, the headset automatically establishes hands-‐free phone and streaming music connections
with the last connected Bluetooth® devices (phone and/or music devices).
To turn the headset off
Press and hold the Call Handling Button (MFB) for about 5 seconds until you hear a long high tone and both
LEDs switch off.
Seeking Mode
Press and hold the Call Handling Button (MFB) on Bluetooth® Helmet until the blue and red indicator lights
blinking. (Around 6-‐7 seconds)
To pair the headset with a phone or another device
You need to pair the headset to a phone or other device. On the phone enter the searching Bluetooth®
device mode and press and hold the Call Handling Button (MFB) for approximately 5 seconds until the
indicator light blue and red on the Control Buttons flashes alternately. Operate the phone to discover and
connect the headset (“helmet_intercom_over or BLiNC I”). The headset passkey is 0000. If pairing is
successful the headset indicator blue light flashes slowly and indicator red light is off. Pairing should be
done only once. Each time you use your headphones, it will be automatically connected to your phone.
Note: Before enter pairing mode, please make sure other Bluetooth® devices are switched off.
Make an Intercom Call:
Driver Role
Press the Call Handling Button (MFB) on the headset to enter in to Intercom mode. The headset will initiate
an intercom call to the last paired headset automatically, and work as master.
1) If the driver headset is connected to other devices (for example mobile phone), it will disconnect
automatically, then it will connect to the other headset (passenger).
After connecting, the driver headset makes an intercom call to passenger headset. Press the driver Call
Handling Button (MFB) to terminate the call. If the driver headset was playing A2DP music from the phone
before entering Intercom mode, it will reconnect to the mobile phone and keep on playing music after
terminating the Intercom connection (You will still need to restart the headset manually on phones which
are not compatible with this interruption feature).
2) If the driver headset is not connected to any device, it will connect and make an intercom call to slave
headset directly.
Passenger Role
1) If the Passenger headset is already connected to other device (for example mobile phone), it will
disconnect automatically, and then accept the connection request from the Driver headset.
After 3 or 4 rings; the Passenger headset will answer the incoming call automatically. Or you can press the
Call Handling Button (MFB) to answer the incoming call manually.
Press the Call Handling Button (MFB) to terminate the call. If the Passenger headset was playing music
from the mobile phone before Intercom call, it will reconnect to the mobile phone and keep on playing
music after terminating the Intercom connection (You will still need to restart the headset manually on
phones which are not compatible with this interruption feature).
2) If the Passenger headset is not connected to any device, it will accept the connection request and handle
Incoming intercom call directly.
Pairing Bluetooth® Helmets for Intercom mode
Before pairing, make sure there is no Bluetooth® device working in your area.
