Add new contact
A new contact can be added to the contact list through the "Add new contact" menu
item. You can store the following information about the contact - first name,
surname, mobile number, home number, work number, other number, e-mail
address, and postal address. When all the desired fields are filled, you can save the

Backing up and importing contacts
BlindShell allows you to backup contacts into and import contacts from a .VCF file.
Importing contacts
•
The filename of the file, from which the contacts will be imported has to be
Contacts.vcf. Copy this file either to the root folder of the memory card, if you
use one, or to the root folder of the internal storage of the phone.
•
If Contacts.vcf is present in both storages, the file which is located on the
memory card will be used.
•
Select the option "Import contacts" to copy the contacts from the Contacts.vcf
file into the phone's contact list.
•
Contacts in the Contacts.vcf file, which are identical with contacts already
stored in your contact list, will be skipped during the import.
•
After the contact import is finished the Contacts.vcf file will be renamed to
Contacts-imported.vcf.
•
The phone will announce an error if the Contacts.vcf file is not found either on
the memory card or in the internal phone storage.
Backing up contacts
•
Select the "Backup contacts" menu item to create a Contacts.vcf file; this will
copy contacts that are in the phone's contact list to the Contacts.vcf file.
•
If a memory card is in the phone, the file will be created in the root folder of
the memory card.
•
If no memory card is present in the phone, the file will be created in the root
folder of the internal storage of the phone.
