Status information
Among others, status information supplies information about:
•
Date and time (one-finger long-press is a shortcut to Calendar).
•
Information about WiFi (one-finger long-press is a shortcut to WiFi settings).
•
Signal strength and mobile data info. (one-finger long-press is a shortcut to
Mobile data settings).
•
Battery state.
•
Information about Bluetooth (one-finger long-press is a shortcut to Bluetooth
settings).
You can access the status menu either by selecting "Status information" the main
menu or by sliding one finger from the bottom to the top of the screen. You always
exit the status info menu with the escape gesture, i.e. with the two-finger long-
press.
Manual
BlindShell comes with a built-in manual which you will find in the main menu. If you
need more specific help, slide one finger from the top to the bottom of the screen
when you need help and you will be offered more context-based help.
Favorite contacts
In the favorite contacts menu, you will find important contacts that you have
specified as favorites. Selecting one of these contacts offers the same options as
you would get if you were to access them through the contacts list.
Missed events
The missed events option is a log of missed calls and messages to which the
relevant options reply, call back, etc. are offered. "No notifications" will be
announced if there is no missed event.
Turn off the phone
This menu item will turn off the phone. This action has a confirmation step.
