DRIVE BELT
Units of type DZNT, DZNDT and GZNT
have a second V-belt which drives the separate
cooling fan for the crankshaft housing.
CHECKING THE DRIVE BELT
After every 500 operating hours, check the condition
and tension of the drive belt. If there are any cracks
in it, or if it looks brittle, replace it. Tighten up the
tension on it if it is too slack.
TENSIONING OF V-BELTS

The v-belt for compressor drive is tensioned by
displacing of electric motor.

Loosen the fixing screw of the motor by few turns
⇒
Displace the motor until the v-belt is tensioned
⇒
Retension the fixing screw
•
The v-belt for drive of the cooling fan is tensio-
ned by means of a tensioning mechanism.

Tension the v-belt for the compressor drive firts
and retighten the fixing screws

Loosen the 3 fixing screws (hexagonal)
⇒
Tension the v-belt for cooling drive by means of
the tensioning wheel

Retighten the 3 fixing screws for fixing of the
tensioning wheel
